Adam Gilchrist and Amway hand over $250,000 for children with disabilities
Champion Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist is a spokesperson for Amway brand Nutriway in Australia, as well as working with the Amway One By One Campaign. Thanks to his great performance in Cricket's Indian Professional League, and a challenge from Amway Australia, Amway is donating $215,000 to Technical Aid for the Disabled.

Legendary cricketer and former Australian vice-captain Adam Gilchrist has joined Team Nutriway, Amway Australia's version of Team Nutrilite.

Amway Australia signs Adam Gilchrist
Amway Australia has signed cricketing legend Adam Gilchrist as a new spokesperson for Team Nutriway! It's been gossip for a while, but Amway officials announced it at a major IBO seminar on the weekend. Well done Amway!

Asafa Powell visits Amway Australia
Nutriway spokesperson and the World's fastest man, Asafa Powell, recently visited Amway Australia's Castle Hill Business Centre, in Sydney. Asafa is using Australia as his base to prepare for the Beijing Olympics later this year. Here's a brief video of the occasion.

Amway Australia & New Zealand - a2k is now Amway Online
Amway Australia first launched an internet portal in 1998, dubbed ELVIS (Electronic Link Via Internet Services). The service was an instant success, but was always simply an ordering system targeted at Amway distributors. In April 2000, 8 months after the launch of Quixtar in the United States, ELVIS was replaced by a2k in Australia and New Zealand and included the ability for Amway distributors, now known as Amway Independent Business Owners, to allow their clients to order directly of the website. Unlike in North America, where Quixtar was a whole new company, with literally thousands of products from "partner stores", a2k was still under the Amway umbrella, albeit with the addition of a small number of partner stores, ala Quixtar ......
